BRITISH GYMNASTICS NATIONAL DEVELOP PLAN (NDP) Routines


British Gymnastics ‘National Development Plan’, continues to evolve and is the official competition pathway for trampolining in the UK, from club through to national levels.


  A competition handbook is available to support the structure; this gives more complete descriptions of the grades and events.  The structure is revised annually.


For 2020 there are 2 ‘pre-qualification’ events (January and February) followed by a regional qualification competition (in March). The top finishers here go on to the National NDP Finals.


This year has seen minor changes to routines – notably 5B.

Awards Scheme


 

The British Gymnastics Trampoline Award Scheme is designed to teach a complete beginner (1) through to entry level competition standard (9).  The newer awards up to level 13 include moves up to grade 3 competition level, while 14 and 15 move on towards national grades.  There are badges and certificates for each level of achievement.


These can be purchased from the club when your coach has ‘passed’ each of the moves required for a given level.  The requirements for each award are given below.
