ABOUT GIRLS GYMNASTICS

AGE GROUP

Our Girls Gymnastics classes aim to accomodate girls aged 7+ years old to develop  their gymnastics, achieve awards and have fun.

APPARATUS & EQUIPMENT

Gymnasts have access to Women's Artistic apparatus: Floor, Vault, Uneven Bars, Beam; and additionally Trampoline & DMT.

Please Note: This is on a rotation basis, therefore gymnasts will use differing appartus each week.

AWARD SCHEMES

We follow the British Gymnastics award schemes for both gymnastics and trampoline disciplines. Girls are introduced to and continue to develop skills to achieve their Rise Gymnastics: Explore and Excel phases for gymnastics, and the proficiency award scheme for Trampoline.

UNIFORM & INSURANCE

For new members, wear something comfortable to train in such as shorts and a t-shirt. Please bring socks for trampoline. After a trial period, gymnasts will be required to wear a leotard to train in, and must have updated British Gymnastics membership for insurance to continue training.

BREAK TIME

Gymnasts are recommended to bring a water bottle which they may use throughout the session by asking a coach. Gymnasts are also recommended to bring a snack for break time.

ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL

We offer a limited parental viewing area by the front doors. Arrival is at the front entrance. At the end of the session, gymnasts are safely dismissed by a member of staff.
